WBD-600 Horizontal Valve Pressure Test Bench — DN50 to DN600, up to 16 MPa
The WBD-600 is a horizontal valve pressure test bench for butterfly, gate, ball, check and globe valves from DN50 to DN600. A 150-ton clamping cylinder closes the valve between two end plates at a low working height, and the water test pressure is adjustable up to 16 MPa.

How it works
The valve lies horizontally between two end plates and the 150-ton cylinder closes it from the end. The working height is low, so a DN600 valve can be rolled into place on a trolley instead of being lifted overhead — which is the practical reason to choose a horizontal bench for large valves.
Horizontal clamping also suits long face-to-face bodies such as check valves and globe valves, where a vertical bench would need a very tall frame to clear the body.
Water is fed from both ends of the valve, so the seat can be tested from either direction without re-clamping.
Test capability
- Hydrostatic strength test with water, adjustable from 0 to 16 MPa
- Seat leakage test, fed from either end
- Suits long face-to-face bodies: check valves, globe valves, ball valves
- 150-ton clamping force covers DN50 – DN600 without a separate frame for the large sizes
- Low loading height for trolley handling of heavy valves
Who it is for
Manufacturers of large butterfly, gate and check valves, water utility and pipeline maintenance workshops, and repair shops that regularly handle DN350 – DN600 valves and want to avoid overhead lifting.

Specifications are shown for the standard configuration. Size range, clamping force, control level (manual / PLC / fully automatic) and voltage can be adapted to your workshop — tell us what you test and we will confirm the exact configuration in writing.
What is included with the machine
English manual and wiring diagram, one set of end plates for the ordered size range, and spare sealing elements.
For large valves we also advise on the trolley or roller height you need, so that the valve centre line lines up with the bench axis on the first try.
Frequently asked questions
Why a horizontal bench rather than a vertical one for large valves?
Loading. A DN600 valve weighs well over 200 kg; on a horizontal bench it can be rolled into position at waist height, while a vertical bench needs a hoist and an overhead clearance. Horizontal clamping also clears long face-to-face bodies such as check valves.
What is the maximum test pressure?
16 MPa with water on this model. It is the right ceiling for PN6 – PN10 large valves; if you need 40 MPa in large sizes, look at the SYJ-600SQ.
Can it test in both flow directions?
Yes. Water can be fed from either end plate, so the seat can be checked from both sides without removing the valve.
Can the bench be built for a different size range?
Yes — the frame and cylinder are sized to the range you order. Give us the largest and smallest valve you test and we will confirm the configuration and price within 12 working hours.
