SYJ-600SQ Water–Air Dual-Purpose Valve Test Bench — DN50 to DN600

The SYJ-600SQ runs both hydrostatic and pneumatic tests on the same clamping, for butterfly valves, gate valves, welded-end valves and pipe fittings from DN50 to DN600. Water test pressure reaches 40 MPa and air test pressure 4 MPa, with a 90-ton clamping force holding the valve closed during both stages.

How it works

The valve is clamped once between the sealing plates and stays clamped while both tests are run. The water circuit pressurises the body for the strength test; the air circuit then pressurises the same valve for the tightness test, at the pressure set on the panel.

Running the two mediums on one frame removes the usual second setup: no unclamping, no moving the valve to another bench, no second alignment. For a workshop that has to deliver both a hydrostatic certificate and a pneumatic tightness result for the same valve, this is the difference between two operations and one.

The bench also takes pipe fittings — tees, elbows and reducers — with size adapters, so the same machine covers the fittings side of the order book.

Test capability

Who it is for

Valve manufacturers whose products are used in gas service and therefore need both a hydrostatic and a pneumatic test result, welded-end valve producers, and pipeline contractors who test valves and fittings on site-preparation work.

Specifications are shown for the standard configuration. Size range, clamping force, control level (manual / PLC / fully automatic) and voltage can be adapted to your workshop — tell us what you test and we will confirm the exact configuration in writing.

What is included with the machine

English manual and wiring diagram, PLC / control programme backup, one set of sealing plates for the ordered size range, and spare sealing elements.

Because the bench handles two mediums, commissioning covers both circuits: the water pressure calibration, the air circuit leak check and the pressure-hold settings for each stage.

Frequently asked questions

Why choose a water–air dual purpose bench instead of two machines?

Because the valve is clamped once and tested twice. You save one setup, one alignment and roughly half the floor space, and the operator does not have to move a heavy valve between benches.

What is the maximum air test pressure?

Up to 4 MPa on this model. If your specification needs a higher pneumatic pressure, tell us the figure when you enquire and we will confirm whether a different frame is required.

Can it test pipe fittings as well as valves?

Yes — tees, elbows and reducers can be tested with the appropriate size adapters, which is why this model is often bought by workshops that supply both valves and fittings.

How long does delivery take?

Lead time depends on the size range and configuration. We confirm the exact date with the quotation, within 12 working hours of receiving your valve types and DN range.
