DFS2-600 Dual-Station Valve Test Bench — DN50 to DN600, up to 7 MPa
The DFS2-600 is a vertical dual-station valve test bench for the strength and tightness testing of butterfly valves, gate valves and pipe fittings. The left station covers DN50 – DN300 with an 80-ton grip clamping force, the right station covers DN350 – DN600 with 126 tons, both on one frame sharing one hydraulic power unit, with test pressure adjustable from 0 to 7 MPa.
At a glance
| Model | DFS2-600 |
|---|---|
| Left station | DN50 – DN300, grip 80 t / top 60 t |
| Right station | DN350 – DN600, grip 126 t / top 80 t |
| Test pressure | 0 – 7 MPa |
| Control | Touch screen + PLC, USB data export |
How it works
The DFS2-600 combines radial-moving grip jaws with an assisting top cylinder on each station. The jaws close radially around the valve body and the top cylinder presses down to assist, so a valve is secured without bolting up a flange set. Water enters through the centre and vents through the top blind plate.
The machine base doubles as the circulating water tank with the low-pressure submerged pump inside, which keeps the footprint compact. The control cabinet carries the pressure display, buttons and touch screen; the hydraulic power unit sits inside the cabinet, and the high-pressure pump and pressure vessel are mounted behind the left station.
The test cycle runs automatically: the low-pressure pump fills and vents the valve, the system switches to the high-pressure circuit at the set changeover point, pressure builds to the test value and the hold timer starts. If pressure stays above the test pressure times the acceptance factor for the whole hold time, the result is a green pass; a leak shows a red alarm.
Test capability
- Strength (shell) test and tightness test on butterfly valves, gate valves and pipe fittings
- Left station DN50 – DN300: grip clamping 80 t, top pressing 60 t
- Right station DN350 – DN600: grip clamping 126 t, top pressing 80 t
- Real-time pressure curve on the touch screen, saved automatically, exported by USB
- Test history query and export; automatic pressure top-up optional
- Safety interlock: all hydraulic buttons are disabled while the workpiece is still pressurised
Who it is for
Valve manufacturers testing a wide size range on one machine — the dual-station layout covers DN50 to DN600 without a second bench — and workshops that need a documented pressure curve for every valve.

What is included with the machine
Each machine ships with upper and lower blind plates for DN50-150, DN200-300, DN350-450 and DN500-600 (one pair per range), 4 extension rods and 2 rod flanges — so the full DN50 – DN600 range is testable on day one.
English manual and wiring diagram, PLC programme backup, and commissioning by video call covering pressure calibration, changeover-point settings and the acceptance criteria.
Frequently asked questions
Can I test a DN100 valve and a DN500 valve on the same day?
Yes — that is the point of the two stations. Each station has its own grip jaws and cylinder sized for its range, and the blind plates for both ranges ship with the machine.
Why is the maximum pressure 7 MPa on such a large machine?
Because of the sealing area. At DN600 the clamped area is large, so 7 MPa is the working ceiling matched to the cylinder forces. Large-diameter valves are normally PN2.5 – PN10, and the usual strength test at 1.5 times nominal pressure stays within this ceiling.
How does the machine judge pass or fail?
You set the test pressure, hold time and an acceptance factor. If the pressure stays above the test pressure times the acceptance factor for the whole hold, the screen shows a green pass; otherwise a red alarm. Every run is recorded with its pressure curve.
Can I get the test records out of the machine?
Yes. The touch screen stores each test with its time-pressure curve, and records can be queried and exported through the USB port — useful when your customer asks for the test sheet of a specific valve.
